A North Liberty woman was arrested early this week after breaking the window of a man she has been dating.
Officers were called to the 600 block of South Van Buren Street around 2:30am Tuesday after 21-year-old Rosalina Loops of South Stewart Street had an altercation with the man resulting in her allegedly breaking a window at his residence.
When police arrived, Loops was in the parking lot, yelling. She continued yelling when the officer asked to speak with her, but complied when asked to put her hands behind her back.
Loops is then accused of pulling her arms away, and slipping out of one of the handcuffs while being escorted to the police vehicle and kicking the officer in the shin.
Loops was found to be intoxicated, providing a PBT of .160.
She has been charged with public intoxication, interference with official acts, disorderly conduct, and assault on persons in certain occupations. Loops could be sentenced to up to 15 months in prison if convicted.
