Nine people were cited for being in a bar after 10pm while underage during a police check of downtown Iowa City bars late Satuday night and early Sunday morning.
Online records show five people were cited at EDEN Lounge on Iowa Avenue, with another two apiece at The Union on the Ped Mall and The Summit on South Clinton Street.
Presence on Premises After Hours is a simple misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $250.
