A man accused of masturbating while naked on the streets of a North Liberty trailer park now faces a sex offender registry violation.
29-year-old Guillermo Dimas Villanueva of the Golfview Estates manufactured housing community was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 11:15 Monday morning. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says on March 6th Dimas Villanueva reported to his probation parole officer that he had obtained a new phone number. However, he allegedly failed to provide that number to the Iowa Sex Offender Registry within five days, as required by law.
Dimas Villanueva is charged with a Sex Offender Registry Violation. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
On January 17th Dimas Villanueva was given a deferred judgment and placed on the sex offender registry for ten years on an Indecent Exposure charge. In March of 2024 he was accused of walking from his Golfview residence to the nearby Holiday Lodge manufactured housing community while fully nude. Dimas Villanueva also allegedly began to masturbate in public while in visual proximity of an adult female.
