CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Feb. 25, 2025 – If you drive on northbound Interstate 380 and Wright Brothers Boulevard (exit 13) in Cedar Rapids you need to be aware of nighttime lane closures that may impact your trip according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Cedar Rapids construction office.

Beginning at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25 until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, weather permitting, crews will close both lanes of northbound I-380 and the Wright Brothers Boulevard between the interchange ramps.

When the roadway is closed, and work is taking place on northbound I-380 you will follow a marked detour route (see map). You will also follow a marked detour route (see map) that uses the interchange ramps when Wright Brothers Boulevard is closed.

Help keep everyone on the road safer. Drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, you should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
