Johnson, Muscatine. Louisa County storm spotter training sessions set for next month

With Spring less than a month away, the Emergency Management Agencies of Johnson, Muscatine, and Louisa Counties have scheduled storm spotter training sessions for March.

The Johnson County session will be Wednesday night, March 26th from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Kirkwood Regional Center on Oakdale Boulevard in Coralville. Seating is limited to 125 people, so those interested in attending should RSVP by emailing a name or names and number of seats requested to RSVP@jecc-ema.org. A confirmation email will be sent once the sender is registered.

Storm spotter training for Muscatine and Louisa Counties will be one week earlier, from 6 to 8 Wednesday night, March 19th at the Letts Community Center. That session is open to the public with no RSVP required.

Both sessions are free.
