The Iowa City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a dependent adult.

Stephen Heck, 63, was last seen in the 2000 Block of Grantwood Street around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025. Heck was last seen wearing a black trench coat, jeans, a black beanie hat, and brown boots or slippers. Heck suffers from dementia.

Anyone with information on Heck’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Joint Emergency Communications Center at 319-356-6800.
