North Liberty Police have arrested a man they say sold a truck that he had borrowed from someone else.

24-year-old Mykale Rush of North Stewart Street was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 1:45 Tuesday morning. Police say in April of 2022 Rush sold a truck to another subject for approximately $2,400. Rush had borrowed the truck from someone else for an extended period of time. That person later reported the truck as stolen when Rush didn’t return it.

The owner of the truck told police Rush had no right to sell it, and Rush never gave the title to the buyer.

Rush is charged with 2nd Degree Theft, a Class D Felony punishable by a maximum of five years in prison.
