The nets are back up at a popular Tiffin golf facility after they fell down due to last weekend’s ice storm.
While drivers passing Pinseekers on Interstate 380 might think the storm damaged the nets, representatives from the business told Iowa’s News Now that they are actually designed to fall down if they accumulate too much extra weight, which keeps them from ripping. Last weekend’s ice and high winds more than sufficed to knock the nets down, and Pinseekers was closed over the last week while they were put back up.
Pinseekers representatives told Iowa’s New Now that they plan to add more heaters and wind curtains next year to combat future winter weather.
