A Coralville man faces charges that he threatened a woman with a knife inside the couple’s home.
Coralville Police were called to a domestic disturbance on Fairview Drive just before midnight Wednesday. The alleged victim reported she and the father of her child, 29-year-old Taylor Stout, had been in an augment when he slammed her against the bathroom wall, held a knife to her head, and threatened to kill her while pretending to stab her. Police say a red mark could be seen on the woman’s throat where Stout allegedly held the knife.
The couple’s eight-month-old son was on a nearby bed and allegedly witnessed the entire incident.
