A West Amana man faces charges after an incident at Shelter House where he allegedly made numerous threatening statements.

51-year-old Cainnon Fox was called in by staff Tuesday at around 6:45pm for a trespass issue. Upon arrival, officers reportedly observed him in a state of visible intoxication.  After allegedly making a number of threats to those around him, he was warned to leave the property immediately.

Fox reportedly ignored the warning and was then told he was being arrested.

He pulled away from the officer on scene and had to be taken into custody by force. During a search incident to arrest, Fox allegedly spit on the officer.

Fox was charged with Public Intoxication, Interference with Official Acts, and Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations and could be sentenced to up to 14 months in jail if convicted on all counts.
