An Iowa City man has been arrested on multiple charges stemming from an incident that occurred Monday afternoon.

According to the arrest reports, 23-year-old Kyshawn Kelly of the Quarters apartment complex on Highway 6 East was seen pleasuring himself while following another man on the 300 block of South Linn Street.  He followed the man inside Almost Paradise Tobacco and Vapor and allegedly tried to instigate a fight multiple times.

Kelly reportedly tried to fight with authorities when they arrived; he also allegedly tried to pull his arms away when being handcuffed.  He was observed with bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech. Kelly also allegedly spit on a paramedic as he was being transported to a hospital for treatment.

He has been charged with Indecent Exposure, Interference with Official Acts, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, and Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations.  If convicted on all counts, Kelly faces up to over three years in prison.
