A Homestead man accused of exposing himself in Iowa City has reached a plea deal.
According to the arrest report, 67-year-old James Wallace was at an undisclosed address on Highway 1 in Iowa City on the afternoon of March 27th when he reportedly exposed himself.
Wallace also allegedly showed obscene material to the victim, who found it offensive. Police say Wallace should have known the victim would be offended.
Wallace was charged with Indecent Exposure, a serious misdemeanor. He was also wanted on marijuana and meth possession charges from an incident on May 3rd. He faced a jail sentence of up to three years if convicted on all counts.
Terms of the plea deal, reached earlier this week, have not been released. Sentencing is set for December 5th.
