Chown Appliance in Nichols has donated $6,000 for landscaping infrastructure at the new Muscatine County Fair Event Center in West Liberty.
Chown Appliance is owned and operated by Kyle Barnhart of Muscatine, who grew up in 4-H and exhibited photographs at the fair. He’s also volunteered at the First Church United Food Stand.
