City release
09/16/24
The City of North Liberty is hosting a Good Neighbor meeting Tuesday night to discuss the rezoning of an over 5 acre property on West Forevergreen Road.
According to a release, Hodge Construction Company has submitted a zoning map amendment from Multi-Unit Residence District to a Higher-Intensity Commercial District at the northeast corner of West Forevergreen Road and Bernardy Drive. The purpose of the request is to construct higher-density multi-unit residents, although the zoning would allow for commercial uses as well.
No formal staff review of the proposed rezoning has been completed, nor have Planning Commission or City Council considered the request. It is anticipated that this request will be considered at the October 1, 2024 Planning Commission meeting.
The meeting will take place from 6:30 to 7pm, or longer if needed and will be held electronically. Those interested in participating need to register in advance.
