A second suspect has been charged in an Iowa City home invasion case.

17-year-old Savion Tullis is charged with 1st Degree Burglary. Iowa City Police say footage from a living room Ring camera shows Tullis, 24-year-old Semaj House and a second juvenile arrive at a Finkbine Lane apartment around 2:00 on the afternoon of May 13th. The footage reportedly shows House knock on the door, then punch a resident in the face when they answered. The alleged victim fell backwards into the apartment, and police say House continued the attack by entering the residence and punching the man again seven more times in the head while he was lying defenseless on the living room floor. Tullis and the other suspect then reportedly ran into a bedroom to attack the man’s son.

The adult victim suffered injuries to his face and bleeding from his mouth.

House is also charged with 1st Degree Burglary. If convicted, he and Tullis…who both live in the Western Hills Estates manufactured housing community in Coralville…each face a maximum of 25 years in prison.
