A Lone Tree woman was charged with OWI after being stopped on a golf cart in Lone Tree recently.

According to police, 24-year-old Hannah Titus of South Riggs Street was operating a Yamaha golf cart on Amlong Street just before 1:30am August 24th.  The motorized vehicle allegedly had no working tail lights, and a stop was initiated.

Titus reportedly had bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, an odor of ingested alcohol, and was wearing a bar wristband.  She admitted to consuming alcohol at an event earlier in the evening in Lone Tree where alcohol was being served to those wearing a bar wristband.

After showing measurable impairment on field sobriety tests, she submitted to chemical testing. A PBT showed her breath-alcohol level at .160 percent, while a subsequent Datamaster test showed it at .128 percent.

Titus was charged with first offense OWI.
