Multiple agencies responded to a structure fire in rural Johnson County Thursday morning.
The Johnson County Joint Emergency Communications Center website indicates a fire was reported on the 2800 block of Wapsi Avenue, south of Morse, just after 9:30 a.m. Fire departments from Solon, West Branch, North Liberty, Mount Vernon, and Coralville were all called to the scene, including tanker trucks from West Branch and North Liberty. Units were back in service just after 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
No details about the incident, including a damage estimate or reported injuries, have been released.
