A West Branch company says it plans to hire up to 100 new workers as it once again begins making parts for wind turbines.

Nordex Group, which shut down such operations when it laid off assembly line workers in 2013, says the production will re-start next year. Company officials say the expansion is due to new federal incentives for renewable energy and predicted growth.

The West Branch plant, located on Fawcett Drive, currently employs about 100 people, and is mostly used for support, storage and training.
