A Muscatine County man was arrested Thursday night after allegedly threatening harm to a woman.
The incident occurred at a Hills residence at around 11:45pm. 35-year-old John Odeen of Broadway Street in Nichols allegedly shoved the woman down onto a bed and placed his knee on her chest. He reportedly said he was going to slit her throat and put a bullet between her eyes.
Odeen was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault and 1st degree Harassment. If convicted, he faces a jail sentence of over two years. A no-contact order was requested between the parties.
