Former University of Iowa basketball star Megan Gustafson tallied a double-double in Team Spain’s 63-62 win over Puerto Rico early Wednesday morning at the Olympic games in Paris.
Gustafson led all scorers with 18 points of 7-of-13 shooting, including 1-of-5 from behind the three-point line. The 2019 NCAA National Player of the Year added 13 rebounds and a steal.
Spain is now 2-0 in group play. They return to action when they face Serbia Saturday morning at 6:30 on Peacock.
