West High basketball player Jack McCaffery has announced plans to play for Butler.
McCaffery, the son of University of Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery, had previously stated publicly that he wanted to play elsewhere after his brothers, Connor and Patrick, had played for the Hawkeyes. Jack McCaffery will follow in the footsteps of his brother, Patrick, who transferred to Butler in the off-season.
Connor McCaffery is also in Indianapolis working for the Indiana Pacers.
