AMES, Iowa – July 26, 2024 – Tell us what you think about the proposed bridge replacement and detour on U.S. 6 over Wapsinonoc Creek in West Liberty, Muscatine County (Event # 6126).

Construction is planned to begin Spring 2026.

A detour will be in place for the duration of construction. The proposed detour would follow Iowa 70 and Muscatine County Roads F-70 and X-46 to and from the junction of U.S. 6. Access to private properties shall be maintained at all times.
