The Johnson County Auditor’s Office announced this week the submission period deadline for ‘I Voted’ Sticker Contest designs is 5PM a week from Friday. All Johnson County residents are encouraged to submit their design the auditor’s office by visiting johnsoncountyiowa.gov/stickercontest.

Winners will be picked from two different categories; youth 17 years old and younger and an adult. The office is hoping for more submissions from adults so there’s a larger pool from which to choose.

Submissions can include any medium, including but not limited to: hand drawn, painted, and graphic design. A panel of Johnson County employees will determine the top 5 designs submitted by July 5th from each division.  The top 5 submissions from each division will then be available for public vote July 17th-31st on the Johnson County Auditor’s Website. Winners’ designs will be available at all Johnson County early and Election Day voting sites for the November 5th General Election.

Questions about the contest can be directed to the Johnson County Auditor’s Office at (319)356-6004 or elections@johnsoncountyiowa.gov.
