A North Liberty man was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly assaulting his roommates.

24-year-old Pedro Sanchez Rosales of Holiday Lodge Road reportedly got into the altercation at 5:30am. One roommate told officers that Rosales had been drinking and sometimes becomes aggressive when he drinks. On this occasion, Rosales punched the man in the face, leaving a mark. He also was scratched on the arm when Rosales pushed him to the ground.

Another roommate tried to break up the fight and suffered an open wound to his finger when Rosales reportedly bit him.

Rosales was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault causing Bodily Injury. He could be sentenced to up to two years in jail if convicted on both charges.
