A Long Grove Iowa man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly attempting to entice a minor for sex.
The incident reportedly involved 28-year-old Joseph Micklewright. Police say he began communicating with a female who told him she was under the age of 16. During these conversations, Micklewright allegedly stated that he wanted to engage in sex acts with the female.
He then reportedly made arrangements to pick up the female so that they could engage in the pre-discussed sex acts in his vehicle. When Micklewright arrived at the predetermined location, he was detained.
Micklewright was charged with Enticing a Minor under 16 for Sexual Purposes, a Class D Felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years if convicted.
