Coralville Police: Cedar Rapids man used juvenile to help him shoplift from Scheels

Coralville Police say a Cedar Rapids man used a juvenile to help him shoplift from a Coral Ridge Mall retailer.

Arrest records indicate 45-year-old Juan Nacimba Llumiquinga of 6^th Street SW entered Scheels around 2:00 Saturday afternoon and began concealing clothing items and shoes in a large Under Armor bag he’d brought in with him. A juvenile allegedly helped Nacimba Llumiquinga by stuffing other items into a bag of their own.

The two were stopped trying to walk past all points of sale without paying. Nacimba Llumiquinga is charged with 4^th Degree Theft, a Serious Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of one year in jail.
