An Illinois man faces multiple charges after an October incident in which he’s accused of threatening two individuals with a loaded gun.

Police say the incident occurred on 4th Avenue Place in Coralville the evening of October 30th. 30-year-old Nico Johnson-Williams of the south Chicago suburb of Dolton reportedly arrived uninvited at the apartment, was immediately confrontational, and pointed a firearm at both victims.  He left the area for a short time, but later returned.

Johnson-Williams allegedly escorted one of the victims at gunpoint to the doorway of the residence and pushed him through the threshold. He then reentered the apartment and pointed his gun at the other victim, demanding that they find his car keys. When they were retrieved and given to Johnson-Williams, he reportedly chambered a round in his firearm and told the victims to run.

The victims reported they expected Johnson-Williams to shoot and were in fear.

A check of Johnson-Williams’ criminal record showed previous felony convictions and a history of domestic abuse .

A warrant was issued on November 6th; Johnson-Williams remained at large until being arrested Monday. He’s been charged with first degree Burglary, two counts of Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Going armed with Intent, and one count of Dominion or Control of a Firearm by a Felon. If convicted on all charges, Johnson-Williams could be sentenced to a maximum 50 years in prison.

A no-contact order was issued by Judge Jason Burns Tuesday.
