Iowa City woman charged with theft after stolen Macbook found in her possession

An Iowa City woman faces prison time after a search warrant found her in possession of a stolen Mac book.

Officers executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 900 block of Cross Park Avenue late Thursday night. 32-year-old Zhauntae Clark of Camden Road was reportedly at the apartment, and when officers arrived, she was allegedly in the process of using cocaine. Police located a tray of the drug in front of her and she reportedly admitted the substance was cocaine.

Clark was allegedly found in possession of a stolen Mac book that she admitted had probably been stolen.

Clark was arrested and charged with cocaine possession and 2nd degree Theft. If convicted, she could be sentenced to up to 7 years in prison.
