National interest in Caitlin Clark has led one of ESPN’s top programs to move its base of operations to Iowa City next week…if only for one day. Pat McAfee announced his show would emanate from the University of Iowa Fieldhouse on Friday, March 22nd.
Iowa is expected to be a #1 seed in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament, meaning they would host first and second round games that weekend.
McAfee made the announcement on Wednesday’s edition of “The Pat McAfee Show”. MacAfee contributor Ty Schmidt graduated from the UI in 2014.
Guests announced so far include Hawkeye tight end legend Dallas Clark and a possible appearance by WWE Undisputed World Champion Roman Reigns, if his schedule permits.
“The Pat McAfee Show” airs weekday mornings at 11 on ESPN. The second-ranked Hawkeyes will learn their bracket position and on which days they’ll be playing during the NCAA women’s selection show Sunday night at 7 on ESPN.
