The 3rd-ranked Solon girls basketball team is now #1.
The Spartans defeated top-ranked Estherville Lincoln Central, 54-47 Friday night is Des Moines in a game you heard right here on The Mighty 1630 KCJJ.
Hawkeye commit Callie Levin led the way with 27 points with Hailey Miller adding 14. Anna Quillin set a state tournament record this week with 40 total rebounds.
It’s Solon’s first state championship in girls basketball since 1998.
