A second person has been identified and arrested after she allegedly found a credit card and allowed another person to use it before using it herself.

Police say 54-year-old Aimee Donnelly of South Lucas Street was at the Keokuk Street Kwik Star the afternoon of February 6th when she found a credit card left in the store’s ATM. She gave the card to a companion, 61-year-old transient Michael Johnson.

Johnson allegedly proceeded to use the card to make a purchase at Kwik Star totaling over $130. He reportedly made additional purchases shortly thereafter at Hawkeye Liquor and Tobacco, charging over $50 and over $93 within a seven-minute span.

Donnelly reportedly also used the card , charging nearly $77 at the Waterfront HyVee.

Police identified Donnelly and interviewed her on February 9th, where she allegedly admitted to using the found credit card and told them she still had the card at her residence.

Donnelly was arrested Thursday and charged with Unauthorized use of a Credit Card, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail term of up to two years if convicted.  Michael Johnson was arrested last week and faces the same charge.
