A Washington man was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly assaulting his adult sister.
Authorities say the incident occurred at the home 27-year-old James Ginneberge and his sister share. At a little past 3pm, the two were involved in a dispute that escalated. Ginneberge allegedly made threats of harm and bit the woman’s index finger, causing it to bleed. He also reportedly punched through a glass door during the altercation.
Ginneberge was taken into custody and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault causing Injury, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail stay of up to a year if convicted.
A no-contact order was requested between the two siblings.
