A Coralville man who reportedly tried to start fights outside an Iowa City bar after being kicked out for trying to fight patrons inside was arrested early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at around 1:15am at Gabe’s on East Washington Street. According to police, 20-year-old Bhiubidner More of 6th Avenue was kicked out for trying to fight people inside the bar. Once outside, he attempted to fight more people, including the bar’s bouncers.

Upon contact, More reportedly had bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, unsteady balance, and the odor of ingested alcohol.  After his arrest, More agreed to a PBT that showed his BAC at .230 percent.

More was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication, both simple misdemeanors. He could be sentenced to up to sixty days in jail if convicted on both counts. A non-jury trial has been set for January 30th.
