The Iowa Hawkeyes are Florida bound once again.
It was announced Sunday that Iowa will face Tennessee at the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.
Gametime is noon on New Year’s Day, and will be televised by ABC.
The Iowa Athletics Ticket Office will accept Citrus Bowl ticket requests starting Monday, through noon on Sunday, Dec. 10 from football season ticket holders, I-Club members, and University of Iowa Alumni. Fans are encouraged to monitor their email inbox for ordering information and visit Bowl Central for updated information. If tickets remain after the priority process, they will be made available for the public on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
Iowa has won four of their last five bowl games, including a 21-0 shutout of Kentucky in the 2022 Music City Bowl. Iowa is 18-16-1 all-time in bowl games.
Coach Don Patterson will join Pat Harty and Tom Suter to discuss the matchup, and Saturday’s Big Ten Championship loss to Michigan during the Hawk Fanatic segment on KCJJ Monday at 9am.
