Multiple vehicles were involved in a chain reaction accident on an icy Interstate 80 west of Iowa City Sunday morning.
Johnson County dispatch records indicate the Johnson County Ambulance Service was called to westbound I-80 between Tiffin and Oxford at 8:30 Sunday morning. Fire departments from the two cities were also dispatched to the scene, although Oxford was later told to disregard.
First responders at the scene requested a second ambulance and reported as many as four patients suffering from injuries.
No other details about the accident have been released.
