Investigators say an intoxicated man returning from a Cedar Rapids strip club was found trying to drive on a North Liberty sidewalk.
Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies report observing a 2004 Chevy Malibu attempting to drive on the sidewalk along Highway 965 near Fairview Lane just before 4:30 Saturday morning. The driver, 41-year-old Bryant Tribble of the Golfview manufactured housing community, reportedly said he was coming home from Woody’s Show Club, where he had only consumed a shot-and-a-half of tequila. His breath alcohol content was measured at .085%.
Tribble is charged with Operating While Intoxicated.
