A transient faces charges that he used a stolen debit card to purchase cigarettes, Cheetos and other items.
34-year-old Frank Little was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 2:15 Tuesday afternoon. Iowa City Police say sometime between 7:15 and 8:00 on the morning of October 5th, Little used a stolen Direct Express debit card at the Waterfront Hy-Vee to purchase cigarettes, Cheetos and a Coke for a total of $27.51. Minutes later, he allegedly crossed the street to Hawk Liquor on Hollywood Boulevard and used the same card to purchase two packages of ZigZag rolling papers worth a total of $5.91.
Little is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in jail.
