An Iowa City woman was arrested Friday morning after allegedly hiding her boyfriend, who was wanted by police.
Officers took 31-year-old Kierra Johnson’s boyfriend into custody due to several outstanding warrants. It was learned that Johnson reportedly knew the man was wanted.
Police say back on May 1st, the boyfriend hid himself in Johnson’s Scott Boulevard residence, and Johnson admitted that he had been living with her.
Johnson was also arrested Friday and charged with Accessory After the Fact, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a jail sentence of up to two years if convicted.
