A Georgia man was taken into custody after allegedly stealing cash and lottery tickets from his employer.
Police say 19-year-old Lamarrion Kyle was working at the Casey’s on 1st Avenue in Coralville the evening of August 11th 2022. Security cameras allegedly caught Kyle taking money from the cash register and intending to take lottery tickets without paying.
After an investigation was completed, a warrant for Kyle’s arrest was issued on February 7th. He was booked at the Johnson County Jail Sunday night, charged with Lottery Ticket Theft and 5th degree Theft. If convicted, Kyle could be sentenced to over 5 years in prison.
