Injured Iowa starting quarterback Cade McNamara appears to be another step closer to being ready for the season opener.
The official Hawkeye football X account posted photos on Saturday that showed McNamara has returned to practicing with the team. The post on X…formerly known as Twitter…reads: “Last Saturday in Kinnick without you, Hawkeye fans. 70,000 Strong”.
McNamara went down with what head coach Kirk Ferentz called a “tissue issue” during the Kids Day open practice on August 12th.
Iowa hosts Utah State next Saturday at 11. The game is sold out, but it can be seen on FS1.
