The University of Iowa softball team will host three games and play three road contests during the fall season. The announcement was made by head coach Renee Gillispie Friday.
The Hawkeyes host Southeast Community College to start the season on Friday Sept. 8. After a two-week break, the team will host Indian Hills on Sept. 22nd and Illinois State on Sept. 23rd.
The final three games in the schedule are road contests. They take on UNI in Cedar Falls on Friday September 29th, then play Iowa State and Drake in Ames on Saturday the 30th and Sunday October 1st, as part of the Big Four Classic.
All fall ball games at Bob Pearl Field are free admission and open to the public.
