Hawkeye students who don’t want to miss a game this year can get a deeply-discounted rate from a streaming service who will be showing Big Ten contests.
Peacock is offering college students subscriptions for $1.99 a month for an entire year by verifying their student status; this marks the first-time Peacock has created a special subscription for students.
According to a release from the provider, students will be able to stream Big Ten and Notre Dame football games on Peacock, including eight exclusive games. Additionally, the first-ever streaming-only NFL Playoff game will be exclusive to Peacock. The game will take place immediately after another Wild Card game on Jan. 13.
Students will have to verify their status using through SheerID. The offer is available at https://www.peacocktv.com/student
