The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says a Solon woman intentionally rammed her ex-husband’s car with the former couple’s children inside.

The county’s Joint Emergency Communications Center received a road rage report from the area of Highway 382 and Ely Road NE around 7:45 Friday morning. The caller claimed his ex-wife, 38-year-old Bridget Johnson, had been aggressively following him in her car, at one point ramming his car from behind. The former couple’s two children, ages six and nine, were inside the father’s car at the time. There were no reported injuries.

Deputies pulled Johnson over as she was driving back to her residence. She reportedly showed signs of intoxication, and allegedly admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana before driving and to intentionally ramming her ex-husband’s car.

Johnson is charged with Operating While Intoxicated– 2nd Offense, Domestic Abuse Assault While Displaying or Using a Weapon and Child Endangerment. If convicted on all charges, she faces a maximum of six years in jail.
