Iowa City Police say a North Carolina man told them he drank a half-gallon of vodka on his cross-country drive to Iowa.

34-year-old Jeremy Norris of Lexington, North Carolina was pulled over by the ICPD just before 11:30 Thursday morning after his 2014 Buick Enclave hit the mailbox in front of the Iowa City Fire Station on Lower Muscatine Road.
