A University of Dubuque football player faces charges that he intentionally shattered a window at Burge Hall.

University of Iowa Police say 20-year-old Spencer Roy can be seen on video walking up to the patio door on the west side of Burge just after 1:45 Saturday morning, throwing a rock through the window, and trying to get in. He then fled when he was unsuccessful.

Roy is charged with 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief, an Aggravated Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of two years in jail.

Roy lists his address in arrest records as the University of Dubuque. A check of that school’s web site shows the Alabama native is currently a redshirt freshman tight end on the school’s football team.
