Washington Police report string of car egging incidents

The Washington Police department is looking for the suspect or suspects who have been egging cars in the city.

Department officials say they have received multiple reports in recent days of cars being egged. Police advise that what may seem like a harmless prank can result in significant and sometimes permanent damage to a vehicle’s paint. They note it’s important to remove the debris as soon as possible and avoid rubbing the surface to prevent bits of eggshell from scratching the finish.

If anyone has information or video of those involved in these acts of vandalism, please contact Washington Police at 319-653-2107.
