A report of an armed subject inside an Iowa City parking ramp has led to an arrest on drug charges.

Iowa City Police received a report just before 7:45 Thursday night of a man pointing a gun at a woman inside a car parked inside the Capitol Street ramp.  An investigation determined the gun was a toy. But the 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis allegedly smelled of marijuana. A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up two marijuana  grinders containing what is believed to be marijuana, as well as a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana.

23-year-old University of Iowa student Kalob Flory was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. If convicted on both charges, he faces a maximum of 13 months in jail.
