One of the two Fairfield teens accused of killing their high school Spanish teacher will have his trial delayed again.

17-year-old Jeremy Gooddale has asked that the court continue his case because attorneys on both sides recently received new information from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation regarding the case.

There were no objections from the prosecution; District Judge Shawn Showers asked both sides to come up with a new proposed trial date by November 21.

Gooddale will be tried in Scott County because of pretrial publicity. The other teen accused of first-degree murder, 16-year-old Willard Miller, has a trial date of March 6th . He will be tried in Council Bluffs after a change of venue was granted.

66-year-old Nohema Graber was murdered November 2nd , 2021. Both Miller and Gooddale have been charged as adults.
