Country swing, blues, rock and roots music will be among the many musical genres presented the weekend of June 3-5th at the Iowa City Arts Fest.
In a release from Summer of the Arts, Friday’s performers include the Avey-Groews (pronounced “GROWS”) Band at 7pm, followed by Kittel & Company at 9.
Saturday features the most music, starting at 11:30 am with the Wooden Nickel Lottery, followed by Pinicon Drift at 1, Dickie at 2:30, Katy Guillen and the Drive at 5, the Ivy Ford band at 7, and Asleep at the Wheel headlining at 9pm.
Sunday features the band Maaaze at 11:30, the Wontu Trees at 1, and Them Coulee Boys will close the festival with a performance starting at 2:45.
The free Festival will feature over 90 fine artists selling their wares in the Downtown, as well as a wide range of food and drink to choose from. A number of local and regional artists will perform in between mainstage acts throughout the festival.
