A Chicago man faces charges that he committed multiple sex acts on a 15-year-old girl while he was living in Iowa City.
27-year-old Yaniv Azriel was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 8:45 Friday morning. He was taken into custody in Chicago by U.S. Marshalls last month. Iowa City Police say he and the girl performed multiple sex acts on each other at his former residence on Brooklyn Park Drive in April of 2015.
Azriel faces three counts of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse. If convicted on all charges he faces a maximum of 30 years in prison.
Azriel also faces three sexual abuse counts out of Mitchell County.
